Philippe Tchamitchian

Professor of Mathematics at Aix-Marseille Université (Aix-Marseille University), Philippe Tchamitchian has held many collective responsibilities, including the presidency of Université Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille III (Paul Cézanne University Aix-Marseille III) from August 2005 to February 2008, as well as the provisional management of Université du Sud Toulon-Var (University of the South, Toulon-Var) from October 2009 to March 2011. He subsequently headed the institutions division at the AERES and then the HCERES academic research assessment agencies until November 2015, when he was appointed as Provisional Administrator of Université Paris-Est.

Born in 1957 and an alumnus of the École normale supérieure (grande école for secondary school teacher training) of Saint-Cloud (1977-1982), Philippe Tchamitchian became a doctor in mathematics at Université Paris-Sud in 1983, a lecturer at Université d'Aix-Marseille III in 1985, and then a professor in 1991.

Philippe Tchamitchian's research work and publications focus on harmonic analysis (singular integral operators) and its applications in signal processing (wavelet transform) and partial differential equations (Kato's conjecture).

Alexandre Maitrot de la Motte

Alexandre Maitrot de la Motte is a public law graduate from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris (Paris Institute of Political Studies) and a professor at Université Paris-Est Créteil Val de Marne (UPEC), where he directs the Master's degree in "Tax Law, Specialising in Applied Taxation" and has founded the "Marchés, Institutions, Libertés" ("Markets, Institutions, Freedoms") research team (EA 7382). He mainly teaches European and international tax law, on which he has written numerous books and reference articles in France and abroad.

As Scientific Director of La Revue de Droit Fiscal and Le Juris-classeur Fiscal International, Alexandre Maitrot de la Motte is also a member of the editorial committees of several international journals (Middle East and North Africa Business Law Review; and Revue Tunisienne de Fiscalité). He has also been a jury member for the national competitive examination for the Agrégation in public law (2017-2018) and the competitive entry examination for France's grande école for access to the senior civil service, the École Nationale d'Administration (2011 and 2012). He has conducted several expert appraisals for the European Commission and the European Parliament in the field of European and international taxation. Between 2016 and 2018, he was a member of the UPEC management teams (institutional and legal affairs, finance, communication).

I-SITE Vice-President

Cécile Delolme

Cécile Delolme has been Vice-President in charge of the I-SITE FUTURE at Université Paris-Est since May 2017. After joining the Comue (Communauté d’universités et établissements – Community of Universities and Institutions) in 2015, she was in charge of coordinating the Ville, Environnement et leurs Ingénieries (Cities, Environment and related Engineering Processes) cluster. In this capacity, she was responsible for scientific coordination in the FUTURE project set-up phase. She was previously a researcher and teacher at the École Nationale des Travaux Publics de l'État (National School of Public Works of the State) and a member of the Comue at Université de Lyon (Lyon University).

In particular, between 2006 and 2014, she managed a Scientific Interest Group in Rhône-Alpes dedicated to the structuring of major scientific investments in the environmental field (natural risks, health-biodiversity, climate, eco-technologies).

Cécile Delolme holds a Habilitation à Diriger les Recherches in Universal Sciences from Université Joseph-Fourier (Joseph-Fourier University), Grenoble, and a doctoral thesis in waste management and treatment from the Institut national des sciences appliquées de Lyon (National Institute of Applied Sciences of Lyon). She is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale des Travaux Publics de l'Etat (ENTPE) and is an Engineer of the Corps of Bridges, Water and Forests.
