Collecting your diploma

  • You defended your thesis and were granted a PhD from Université Paris-Est?
  • You met the requirements for submitting and reporting your thesis?
  • You were informed by email that your diploma is available?

To collect your diploma, you must go to the Department of Doctoral Studies (office C 412, Champs-sur-Marne site) with valid ID. It is advisable to call beforehand to make an appointment.

Your diploma will be given to you in person after you have signed the register.

If you are unable to collect your diploma on site, you can request it be sent to you or authorize someone to pick it up on your behalf.

Your request must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • the application form for collecting your diploma by postal mail
  • a copy of your valid ID
  • a 24x32 cardboard-backed envelope labelled with your name and address, with a €5.20 stamp on it

Your diploma will then be sent to you by registered mail with acknowledgement of receipt.

By authorization:
You can ask the person of your choice to collect your diploma on your behalf. The authorized party must come with:

  • the authorization written by you,
  • a copy of your ID,
  • their own ID.
