The ComUE’s call for start-up projects – introduced in spring 2020 – aims to launch innovative projects and stimulate new types of cooperation on the Paris-Est site based on three interfaces:

  • Geographic (Créteil & Maisons-Alfort / Champs-sur-Marne / other Paris east sites – all included).
  • Thematic (digital and data, health, the city, public policy, the environment, risks, sustainability, etc.).
  • Institutional (type of institution: with a higher education mission and other institutions).

Seventeen projects were submitted as a result of this initial call. After being assessed by a panel of experts, who stressed the quality of the proposals, the ComUE Projects Committee selected the schemes that will receive funding in 2021 and 2022.
