As part of the relaxation of the national health protocol initiated by the government, a new order providing for new methods of organising thesis and accreditation defences at Paris-Est has been published.
Since 19 May, doctoral students and candidates for the Accreditation to Supervise Research (Habilitation à diriger des recherches) have been able to present their defence in person in front of an audience, which was previously limited to 3 people for defences by videoconference.This new measure, decided upon by the Paris-Est Sup institutions, implies strict compliance with the maximum capacity of the rooms used for hosting the defence sessions, and participants' observance of the applicable health and safety rules.
